Campsite review

This last weekend we took a much needed family camping trip up north (aka- God's country). We didn't have reservations for a campsite but we know there are many campgrounds to choose from. After a couple stops we came across Sullivan Lake just north of Two Harbors. It is located in the Finland State Forest. We set up camp at site number three.

Would I camp here again? Defiantly. The site was amazing. It was also a 20 minute drive to Two Harbors and 40 minutes to Duluth. It was a great site for a base camp while we took the Dude to see the trains and boats in Duluth.

How was the noise level? Quiet. There was only four other campsites being used. We couldn't see them from our site and only heard them once and awhile.

How was the Facilities? Well if you can survive without running water it was no big deal. There was a clean toilet and a well for water. It worked great for us.

What method of camping did we use? Tent.

Did the site meet our camping needs? Yes! The tent pad wasn't perfect, but I have yet to find one that is.

What animals were spotted? We saw the typical chipmunk and squirrels. There was also a Jackrabbit, Loon and Wood ducks, We also saw Moose and Deer on the drive past Two Harbor's.

The sites view was pure heaven!
